2020 was a difficult year for a lot people, but I never expected to be in my mid-50’s and suddenly be made redundant.

While I am a panel-beater by trade, I have been a mechanic for many years, have a heart of a builder, and am totally number 8 wired.

It was when my family were helping me identify all my skills and experience that someone commented that I could do all the things with houses and cars that many people need a hand with. It was a lightbulb moment for me, and Need a Hand Handyman was formed.

I enjoy home maintenance and have personally built my own home, carried out a number of house and caravan renovations, as well as upgraded kitchens, bathrooms, and ensuites.

My love of cars and all things with four-wheels extends over 40 years and I am more than happy to carry out servicing and maintenance on all types of cars and vehicles. I also offer a personalised session for newer drivers where I can show them all the important basics of owning a car like how to check the oil and water, what is optimal tyre pressure, how to change a flat tyre, how to start a car with a flat battery, and more.
